1. You MUST be thirteen years or older to register an account on Yield to Me. Anyone found to be under the age of thirteen will have their accounts deleted and IPs banned. This is a Proboards requirement and no exceptions can be made.
2. No godmodding. You control your character(s) and your character alone. If you need to control the actions of another character, make sure you have permission first.
3. No Mary Sue characters. No one is perfect, everyone has flaws, weaknesses, and is hated by someone else. No one is all powerful, no one can save the day every single time. Please keep these things in mind. If your character becomes too Mary Sue, you will be warned.
4. No flaming. A flame is considered anything abusively insulting directed at another individual. In character insults are fine for rival characters, but it ends there. No out of character flaming will be allowed on the board, nor in the chat box.
5. Do not argue with staff on the board. If you have a problem with a member of staff or a decision that was made, private message that staff member or another staff member if you can't discuss the issue with the person it involves.
6. This is a roleplaying community, which means topics of a sensitive nature will be addressed. Maturity and sensitivity is a necessity. Profanity, sex, and violence are allowed to a degree. Please include [AC] in the title if the material within it is of a sensitive nature. Please use common sense.
7. Every account created can belong to only one character for clarity purposes. You can create up to four character accounts per IP address. If you wish to take on any more than that, you must have a member of staff give permission.
8. No abusing the private messaging system by using it to advertise your site/blog/latest craze. Abuse of this will not be tolerated. In order to have your character sorted, include the phrase "B Negative" when asked for the phrase from the rules.
9. Any unnatural powers your character possesses must either be canon or approved during your character application.
10. Don't take yourself too seriously. Everyone is here to have fun. There's no need for out of character drama or a hostile environment between posters. Sit back, relax, and enjoy yourself.
